The Vegas Boneyard
I have a deep and unabiding love for Las Vegas. Which is something that sort of surprises me, but there is something about creating so much something out of so much nothing that fascinates me.
I also am fascinated with the history of Vegas, and there is actually a lot of “culture” there when you look for it. One of the coolest visits I’ve done recently there was visit the Las Vegas Neon Museum, and the coolest part of THAT of course, is visiting the “Boneyard” of dead and discarded neon signs.
The Neon Museum is a huge labor of love, they are doing what they can on a shoestring to save the cultural icons in a city where anything even a few years old is trashed for the new.
